I know the feeling of being home after a visit! I think you are stuck with your parents treating like an adult child! They love and that is very important too! Happy New Year! sam

Join the Children's Club, because our reality is that parents never stop.

Parenting, that is. I am 61 and my mom still looks at my hair and makes suggestions, tells me what to eat, to sleep more or to eat more vegetables and really tells me what I should be doing with my life. She's a mom and that's what they do, even when they are 85 and it is all pretty silly.

Forgive them their trespasses as they forgive you yours. We all are touchy and delicate and must remember that always.

It will be fine, you are home now and loving that, I'm sure. I adore Mom's house and the crowds there, but sure do like to heave the huge sigh of My Own and Quiet and Quirky House when I come in at night to sleep.

Good, that's done ( the holidays, I mean), now on with your everyday life and blogging stuff away on the internet confessional of life. heh heh heh heh
