I feel my mother's loneliness everyday (her loneliness inspired this poem.) She was 90 years old on Dec. 19. She and my father were married 62 years (he died in 1997) and she still misses him just as much now as then, if not more. Thank you for your beautiful comment. Peace, blessings and understanding.

I am speachless... Wonderful rendition my friend. Drenched with emotions... you made me feel as if I were there... a smelled the jasmin and felt the scented steam hit my face... felt the heart braking under the weight of the memories and the flod of emotions she must have felt. What a bitter sweet painting the sad truth that life goes on even after we are all alone. Bravo!
