I believe God and myself. I don't gamble but it's a gamble every. I am. ?

Interesting is right.... So many differing views. What to believe? What to cling to? What do I know? The how and the why... so many questions. A roll of the dice? Bravo!

I think Einstein just basically believed in perfect order.
He couldn't reconcile himself to quantum mechanics, even though his theories paved the way for it, because of the seeming randomness of it - or so I vaguely recall gettingwhen I read that autobiography.

Still, it's funny how we all sort of contradict ourselves as the years go by.

i guess he would have sued Coca Cola for bringing on Santa Claus. As if Christmas wasn't enough for him to deal with. that cranky man!!! you know, i miss him- would have been entertaining to have him around now - nevermind the ocassional equation he would thrown about, in addition to his tantrums.

Hmmmm?
Would this be considered a paradox?

Intelligent men are so fascinating.  I would have loved chatting with Einstein on various matters.  We would have found something to talk about even if he considered me childish and weak on the subject of God.  Those are not bad words where God is concerned.  He says that we must become like a little child to come to Him and where we are weak, He becomes our strength.  To be childlike and weak accompanied by God would beat intelligent old man and strength any day of the week.

I respect Einstein for relativity and I believe him to be a genius,
but he even said, " He could never understand it all" or something like that and he treated his wife like shit, then dumped her for his cousin...ick....what's up with that, Albert?

Naut you are such an enigma to me... you are very smart and extremely funny...with a knack to find obscure hilarious things that most of us would miss... but you are also sensitive and very sweet as some of your comments attest to.  sigh... I am so glad we met here in this virtual world where someone like me, without much reason to smile...can laugh out loud  at silly happenings, thanks to someone like you that takes time out of his life to share his amazing spirit.  I just wanted you and everyone to know how much I appreciate what you do for me and all of us day in and day out.  Thank you :-)

Nothing to add to Pat B's comment. Just great. I hope my dear naut you have taken my mishap to heart and are saving everything on external drives. I'm still trying to recover everything I lost but my memory is better than I thought, although quite a lot of pictures are gone.

To be brilliant does not mean to know it all. A sad commentary!

Marilyn Monroe used to say Albert Einstein was the sexiest
man alive, because he was so smart. I'm wondering if they met in the afterlife. Wouldn't that be a roll of the dice?

The standard set of gaming dice includes
the 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- and 20-sided dice.  God no doubt also has a 60, a 100, at least one clear 6-sider with smaller 6-sider inside, a pair of loaded round dice and Being the Supreme Being, very likely has a couple of Infinity Dice, as well--and keeps them all in the Universe's largest Crown Royal bag.
