And many would think that is the very attitude that brought 9-11 to fruition.........it is not a noise thing because the bands can actually still play their music.

Perhaps a letter to the London paper this originated from would serve the purpose for you?

Why ban 'noise-making' - another angle on this story.

To be perfectly honest I found this blog-entry both surprising and disturbing! I mailed an English  friend (an active Samaritan) and asked her to comment on the article; here's her reply:

'I think it's a load of rubbish...funnily enough I have been collecting for

Samaritans this afternoon. at Oxford station.....and true enough we are not

allowed these days to rattle the tin...

simply because it is classed as'agressive begging'....Iwas told off some

time ago by a railway official at Oxford station...that it was now against

the law.'

Since 9/11 we've all been on edge! But I think that this should make us all very much more careful about jumping to conclusions about 'the other's hidden agenda'.

Some people just look for trouble, beg for it even.
Seems to me it's like the tough guys say: "If you don't make no trouble, there won't be no bleeping trouble."

Maybe he should just do that howling that Muslims do. Britain deserves whatever they've done to themselves. There's people there that hate it, but there's people there that think it's just fine.

Has anybody, I wonder, asked a Muslim spokesman for a commentary on this business?Having read the article, it sounds to me, as though people are jumping to conclusions. I'm off to England on Sunday, and will now keep my eyes skinned to see what's happening to local S.A. bands. Merry Christmas!

Could it be that praise and worship that vibrates through this season could be too much for the prince of this world? I say we blast 'em out!!
