I prefer dill for the tanginess. You're right, pickles alone with tuna fish would overwhelm the tuna. Actually, a little lettuce doesn't hurt either.

It's 2:30 in the morning here....
....and you're making me want a tuna salad sandwich, but, I mught add the pickle anyway.
I love all the ingredients in your recipe, but, if pickles are available, they're going in! lol

Drat, I just ate the crab meat I fished out of the shell yesterday...

But then I don't have any crackers or muffins...

But, Naut, you remind me, another great thing to add into a good tuna salad is itty bitty shrimps.
