Don't matter how hard the blow is, reality is standing their waving. Strong

Again...
beautiful visuals. I think I've found a quaint pitstop where I might find to put the illusionary world aside, if only for a moment. Your works, one after another, are a reprieve. Thank you, most sincerely, for sharing your gifts.

To all of you fine poet commenters!
Each accolade is so appreciated. This poem was written using magnetic word tiles . A poem of words chosen from a display of choices on the Shadow Poetry site. They are like a jigsaw and can contain some great surprises if you accept the challenge. Poetry.com also has a magnetic word poetry contest you can enter daily. In theirs you can choose 20 words from the word tiles to compose a poem. There are haiku contests as well Have fun!

It's been a long time since I've really cried great sobs and heaves, red eyes, running nose, and hiccups, that leaves one with that prostrate feeling that only sleep can heal. But, I remember.
