Be two parts of one person making these observations, or two people playing different roles within the household. Works both way.

This is fantastic. 'Witness', the inner soul that can only observe but can not do, tells me of your fine understanding of the spiritual. I so enjoyed readinmg this. Kudos! This also reminded me of Piraldello's Six Characters in Search of an Author. I'll give a post on this someday. The author dies but his characters live on, and now the characters, alive, without their creator go in seach for a director so as to enable them to enact their lives.
