pl note- the correction has been made - thankyou very much for pointing it out. i feel silly now, because i have always said 'vidi' when we sang it as a rhyme, and yet when i wrote it, i put it down wrong 
but hey, i still don't have your mail and so still don't know 'why' it should be vidi. do try again.
