True words
Isn't it sad though that relationships can get to the point of such bitterness that people cannot even be friends again. At least not until many years, or decades, may have passed.

can we erase the time inbetween? I dont think that is the point of this.. but sometimes.. a complete "do over" would be nice.

So true...as painful as it may be to sever a relationship that has gone bad, it's for the best. With so much hostility and angst towards the person, you're better off leaving it at the crossroads. Nice write.
