I, too, went to "church" every Sunday of my life, as a child...and I still do (only missing occasionally). Just as in school, where one needs a teacher to teach and explain various things, I believe "church" is a place where laymen can go to learn from those who have studied the bible...gleaning those tiny seeds of knowledge and planting them within our own hearts to be nurtured and to grow. The bible says to believe -- but how can you really believe in something or someone you don't understand. We don't learn by osmosis.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

Thank you for you insight I feel whole and good no one is forcing me. God
My mother made me go to chruch. I thought chruch the way you live. God you tell me but can not say I love you. I carried this all these years now I'm laying them down. Thank You!
