Re:

I appreciate your comment althought it would have been nice to see something with substance.  It is interesting how you can complain Obama wasn't in the boy scouts but you will defend a draft dodger.

The Supreme Court did not agree to rule on the eligibility, they dismissed the case as there was no merrit.  I am guessing here but surely you despise Clinton, can you really, I mean really believe over the last two years with all Obama has run against, the Clinton machine, the Republican machine and the press, mainly Fox News that this is an issue still?  It seems more to me like the bully on the playground was soundly beaten and now he is trying to come up with some lame excuse that has nothing to do with, nor the merrit of that beating.

I would imagine you have WorldNetDaily as your home page...that would explain the lack of reason.

I find it astonishing how you can disagree with me about Bush but you say Obama has to comply to the constitution just like everone else...did you not notice in the last eight years how Bush usurped the Constitution in an attempt to increase his power? Hopefully one day he will answer for that, if not in his lifetime history will judge this man appropriatley.

Re: Well.......

"A rehash of the tired complaints"! I find it sad when people stick by someone even when they have been lied to, deceived and ignored by the very person they are sticking by.

"The buck stops here," are you ready to thank him for being hit during his watch? How can you thank him for his efforts to go after Islamofacism when he actually ignored the facists in Afghan, subcontracted that war out, allowed the most wanted person to escape after they paid off our subcontractors and then like a stray eye of a high school boy allowed his attention to be shifted from the real hotbed of Islamofacism and created a new one where there was nothing before we invaded Iraq.

I will agree with you it is a very different thing when a President has his intelligence briefings and it is reassuring to know we will now have a President that will actually take them serious, consider the implications and not be absent in his duties.

Re:

Certainly you can remember genocide was one of the reasons we invaded Iraq along with the constant insinuations Iraq was involved with 9/11.  The point about Darfur wasn't that we should invade, it was that we will not yet it was one of the reasons for Iraq.

Stalin made Hitler look like a lap dog in reality, to the victors go the spoils as well as what the history books say.  The Soviet Union was off-limits as long as it was active only in their sphere of influence, once they tried to spread out like putting missles in Cuba the reaction was appropriate.

I would ask if you supported Iraq and why?

No President ever invades a country without there being some interest. Obviously Darfur has no interest and would be completely pointless. What you have to ask yourself is genocide our problem or isn't it?

THe Soviet Union behaved much the way the Germans did after the war turning Eastern Europe into it's own miserable colony. But a cold war was our only answer. China/Soviet Union are off-limits and wouldn't matter what they did/do.

Just watch our new elect doesn't get us into something and if he does ask yourself if you support it and why?

Well.......
certainly nothing more that a rehash of the tired complaints leveled at W in the past 8 years........

Personally, though I disagree with many of his domestic policies.......I thing the day will come when he will be acknowledged for his geopolitical "strategery" in the Middle East.  I thank him for his efforts to go after Islamofacism, and I thank him for our not being hit at home  again.........in 7 years.  I am encouraged by the coming administration's change of heart when it comes to the "real world".

It's amaging what impact those intelligence briefings have on incoming Presidents.....an opportunity to wake up and smell the coffee.......

You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I respect that. I strongly disagree with your assessment of President Bush. I will be interested to read what you will write at the end of the incoming president's tour of duty. This is a man who has never ranked as a boy scout much less in the military. The world of politics is brutal and it is one field that I have never wanted to be in. One question, Since the supreme court has agreed to rule on obama's eligibility to serve as president in respect to his birth place, will he be able to serve? I don't understand why he is so secreative about this important question. He has to comply to the constitution just like everyone else. I think he lied about not knowing that his aunt was living in the U.S. illegally. He lied about other things during his campaign so did he feel like it was one of the qualifications to serve? Who knows? Maybe he is just a wannabe. We'll see soon enough.
