- Go to Words Associated With Christianity Removed From Oxford Jr. Dictionary?
Thanks for highlighting the folly of the wise and learned men who know so little.! They should restore these words immediately.

This is horrible; however, we expected it. That makes it somewhat bearable. It is this sort of thing that really makes me look at non-believers and say duh. Every thing you are talking about here is a simple mark of the times. Islam is slowly taking over the world and nobody is complaining about anything but Christianity. You see they hate Jews and Christians because these two groups are all that can stay the take over.

Tell them to wake up. Why censor those words when the ones regarding things in dictionaries are increasing their knowledge and understanding not attending a religious meeting!Back to the dark ages when they burned the books!

....what if no one buys it???
What if people, determined to allow people to NOT be censored, quit purchasing ANY dictionary published by Oxford until they cease their censorship practices?
The real question becomes this: what will it take to make people care about issues such as this, since they're too busy right now worrying about depriving their kids of an iphone than a quality education?

I am so pissed off, I am speechless! After barely recovering a bit of my ability to communicate, I just want to say I hope that parents will respond by not buying this piece of crap! And I am also terribly disappointed in the current staff of the hallowed OED, which has always been my standard - not Webster, whose people have shown similar tendencies, although not as bad as the current Oxford crop...

I don't know what to say to this. It seems the worst sort of censorship. Thank you for letting us know about it. ~Peace, OTA
