Hey Vogue...  :-)  I am not going to Brito's wingding, I am sorry, I have guests in town and I promise them a walk through Wyndwood tonight.  You know where that is,  on 36th street ... it is not the greatest neighborhood but lately lots of galleries have opened there.  During Art Bassel they all stay opened at night and people go in and out of them... Its a young scene but really cool.  If you go make sure you park in the designated areas where there is security, like I said the surrounding area is not too kosher.  Tomorrow night I am going to the Design District... also lots of galleries giving chances to new artists... I like to encourage that.  Brito had his success already  loll but you should go, his parties are always as you said "the place to see and be seen" and I heard tonight somebody special is making an appearance ,  don't know who it is but he was heard bragging about it so... who knows ... might be worth the effort of putting up with him :-) Take care of you...xoxo

I miss cavorting on Lincoln Road around the holidays.  I used to go down to Florida to visit my Grandparents who lived on Normandy Isle (79th st. causeway), every year until they both passed away about 10 years ago.  Now, my weekday evenings are spent working across from my son in our living room - he does his homework and I do my writing!  I love living vicariously through you, Vogue - but at this point in my life, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!  Mal

Hey, you look beautiful always... we all can attest to that by the pictures you post. But you are right, its nice to hear honesty once in a while :-)   I went last night to the container gallery in the parking lot adjacent to the public library... It was great... Lots  of wine,  laughs and new artists. It was nice not being known and meeting people.  I think that is a great idea, to place all those containers there and make impromptu galleries inside... it gives it a boheme ambiance. I never made it to linclon road... but I know  Brito and he  is a pill  loll, you have to take him with a glass of water :-) ... he is great when he paints but personality wise ... hmmm , a little swelling of the head there  loll.  The other two are riding his cotails I think... specially the wife, nice enough gal but not the sharpest tool in the shed,  you are so right about her  loll  Take care of you xoxo
