Staying healthy is the best insurance...though some r not that fortunate...
gun-ownership by responsible citizens with valid license for a valid reason is sensible...I'm not for just any Joe the hoodlum carrying one...btw, which one r u mordy, seriously :)? - Ash

Well....
that's certainly plenty of food for thought. ER's are pretty depressing in general. I try to avoid hospitals if at all possible because I think they make you sick/sicker than you were upon arrival...if not physically then pyschologically. I don't think I'm alone in this theory either. As for guns...I never thought I'd really want one in the house until I had a child. I know some people would scream that's all the more reason NOT to have one, but I can tell you now I would not hesitate to shoot anyone who came into my home to harm me or my son...bottom line.

I agree on the Emergency Room. I have seen the most odd of people there, almost like Walmart at Christmas shopping! The firearms I have been around my entire life and they don't phase me! Have a great weekend! sam

WOW ! first of all I'm with ya on Emergency Rooms..ugh...I'm no pussy,
either. And for Guns..well...what can I say..they f***in' KILL ! and yes there are way too many freaks out there with anger management issues who would shoot at ya, just out of a high blood pressure moment.  Interesting post.
