I thought the movie was very good too! I love it when Johnny calls out the 'Christians' for they would surely embarrass our Lord! sam

Malcolm
A great post about one of my favs. I used to listen to Johnny Cash on a short wave radio when I could pick up a station in Montreal from Wheeling West Virginia when I was younger, and he was a lot younger too. LOL

“Today is a new day” is always a good thought to wake up to (not that we always do it).  Have a great weekend, Malcolm.

One of my alltime favorite films!
I read Johnny Cash's autobiography a couple of years ago and found him to be a very haunted, very deep and especially vulnerable soul. I agree that both actors were amazing in that movie!

Johnny and June
Have been heros of mine since I was old enough to remember.  I even named a cat after Johnny.  He is black and came into my life on the day that Johnny died.  The two of them were inspiring, And truly truly loved each other.  They will be inspiring people for years to come.   I hope your back continues to heal.

I agree with the "not Christian" line

Malcom
I enjoyed that film very much. It is like you said very wel cast adn filmed. The line you refer to about Christians struck a cord with me also. I am glad they put that in the film. The Man in Black as Mr Cash is sometimes known was an inspiration to many. He is missed. ~Peace, OTA
