Wings to fly, An awesome expression of a person. Sad that we feel burdened and forget to employ them in flight. It would give the uplift when blue resonates the day!

The rhyming couplets set up a great cadence. Using
We are born with wings to fly was a magnificent refrain. It kept the poem focused and meaningful! Peace and blessings Mariaki and have a wonderful weekend in you lovely paradise. Shelly

Yes ... it's this ...
... difficult balance, not drifting into fear but, still be aware signs of hardship without running away -
- a great poem ... wings, yes, a symbol for so many possibilities of using our strength to come further on our life path and, as you say: being arrogant makes the wings fade -

Mariaki
I see you’ve figured how to embed a pic! You’ll have fun with it now. Yes… those wings we’re born with sometimes get broken, or dusty, or tarnished, and sometimes we even forget we had them. Isn’t it a shame (or a waste or precious time).

How beautiful - and how sad. I felt the disallusion.
