It's good to hear such clarity

Malcolm you should give yourself a pat on the back
after all only a well oiled machine can run without constant supervision; whatever it is you do you obviously do it very well which is why everything functions in your (short) absence; the money will not run out and you will probably look back on this time in some future reflection and realize what it was really all about! Many blessings and thanks

corners can be scary but fun too. Look ahead dear friend. The pain will go
the spasms recede and one day soon you will realize you ahd almost a pain free day. Work will come in as you need the cash and it will all be exciting and a new approach for that is what a corner brings.
How do I know? Well I'm not sure that I can answer that, I just feel it will be so.

Hi Malcolm just popping in to see how you are. We can never be completely indespensible as we are unique but it sounds like the job you have done keeps things running well. Reat assured!

Sometimes, be it right or wrong, with think of ourselves (in a work context) as being indispensible and upon taking a lengthy time off we come to the realization that the well-oiled-machine functions quite nicely without us. And on the surface this can be shot to our ego. But deep down we know we make a meaningful contribution; that our skills and attributes are valued. It’s just that the machine is not going to come to a grinding halt without us. I was faced with this humbling experience when I took a 4 month sick- leave many years back. I wonder what your options are, Malcolm, as you seem so very discontented with you current situation. Sometimes things such as muscle spasm and back pain can actually be a direct result of our frustration… ummm. Anyway, pretty cool that someone came across your photos and wanted to use one. That’s pretty flattering.
