Berry Red
This poem reminds me so much of my wedding day. My hubby and I have lived in Florida for a few years now, but I grew up in Connecticut and both of our families live up there. We decided it would be better to have our wedding there, and it was the second week of October. It had been three years already since I'd seen a proper autumn, and the beauty of it was not lost on me. Thanks for stirring up the fond memories!
