You never know but I don*t think the states and regions can separate now. I doubt that any want to split from the United States. Contrary to this opinion the states and regions want Americans to come together. Thus they elected the first African American president to get the ball rolling!

Re: Re: America's fall

Everytyhing you say about respect is true. After 911 I would've booted middle-eastern males out of the country the way we interred the Japanese in WW2.

It's also interesting to notice after dropping nukes, Japan has been our friend ever since. No one seems to take notice of that.

However as my post just pointed out this world is too inter-connected. We're too tied up with other nations. For example China owning so much of our debt. THis means political tenntacles run deeper than one can imagine.

This makes it impossible to act out like those empires of the past. It's a shame we couldn't keep our nation so much more independent.

Re: America's fall
Rome's Pax Romana will have lasted longer than the history of American hegemony and the British empire as well. Neither empire you mentioned would have tolerated what the U.S. does for popular opinion from other countries. The British did not care about looking good for the French, Prussians, Spanish or any other world power at the time. Their concern was their security and well being. America is the first world power that sacrifces it's interests for those of her enemies. We would be better off if the U.S. was respected for taking action that liked for doing nothing. How many countries would act against us if they saw that we would do what we say we will do? We are more bark than bite in this day and age.

What a blessing you are not the International spokesman or representative of any country; a greater blessing that you do not represent the United States. All the great dynasties, prior to the US which adopted your attitude committed suicide. No one power lasts forever. What are the consequences of what you proffer? Have you heard of the Roman Empire? Have you heard of the British Empire? Even if no one responds, how does the US function? It is not a law unto itself.

My dear friend, those dreams of yours are nightmares. Wake up!!
