I am so sorry I passed this post over while traversing your other ones.
This is so touching and you are such an angel....to do what you did.
I remember my older brother didn't have so much as a grave marker for years after he was killed, until my favorite uncle bought him one.
Unfortunately, I was only a teenager and I wasn't even aware of it at the time.
I salute you.
