older relatives yes, doing it their way. Wiley and I enjoy every day, don't ask me what we are doing(get your mind out of that gutter) but we are busy all day. Retired people don't needheaps of money to have a good time. Good physical and brain health and the ability to always be busy. That's my secret.

My mother is always telling me I don't have anything to complaim about, she has twenty years on me and I am only, hmmm, four or five years from retiring.  I try not to think about it and hope those three fast food kids keep their jobs.  Now, if only I could remember where my cheeze whiz is.

I hope I'm doin' that well at that age. My Mother is 75 and does what ever she wants, also. She has a little group of friends, that she goes out to eat with and shopping. She has a nice car and a very cute and cozy home. She's very happy, or at least seems to be content.  BTW, Loved the part about poppin' Viagra like M&M's, heehee too damn funny, and the part about wandering around wondering where the Cheeze Wiz is...lmfao !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Where the hell have you been ??  Missed ya.

Yep.....more proof of the family ties.  My mom entered her 8th decade still having and using more energy than I was born with.  From the day she retired she started talking about how she doesn't know how she ever had time to work.....she teaches stained glass classes at church, watercolors requested scenes for friends, laid those red clay tiles on her patio and sidewalks around her house last summer - down on her hands and knees, cutting to fit, grouting.  I figure I'm about 20 years ahead of her in deterioration so she may end up taking care of me!!  I sure hope I have more of her genes than my paternal side!  As always.....your writing, so full of humor, is wonderful.....and I sure wish you'd do more of it!
