I dont have any age spots.. yet... but I know they will show up. I do have psoriasis though. Have had it all of my life and treat it with varying degrees of consistancy. It is something that bothers other people more than it does me. ~Peace, OTA

Ihate ageing too!
I know it's good to age gracefully but these things are really annoying. Every day seems to be a fresh struggle to combat the deterioration! As soon as you fix one thing, another appears. Sigh

"Age" spots used to be called liver spots. Why? no clue.
I've been told they're hormonal, you get them during pregnancy. Or that they're related to exposure to the sun. One appeared on my wrist a few months ago, maybe overnight. It's in a sort of dimple, the skin around it is thicker. It's like neon signage to me, but nobody else notices it. What I do is use face or body cream with a 15% sunblock rating to keep out UV rays. Otherwise, worry about it will wrinkle the face.
