Yes, I imagine health turns for the worse pretty easily when you disclose state secrets. Ouch, stop poking my liver

A place where one wonders whether that urban myth of the organ
harvester might actually have the ring of truth...

As Administrator of the Hammons Heart Institute of Springfield, MO, my BIL used to now and then make a run to the airport with his ice chest to pick up a human heart for a transplant and whisk it off to the hospital for the surgery of one in need.  He also had an ice chest that looked exactly like his heart transporter that was used for his food purposes.  He tried to do a good job of keeping the two separated but finally had to get rid of the one for food.

Naut, this gives me a great creepy story idea...
What if John Doe gets a heart transplant donated by an executed serial killer. He recovers from surgery, but keeps having the urge to drag someone into the bushes and off them. Then he grabs some innocent and carries out his gruesome plan, but gets so excited about the whole thing he forgets to take his anti-rejection meds, and bam! The killer's heart finally stops.

And that's only the tip of the Iceberg of what we don't know or don't want to know.

Is the law of supply and demand... it was bound to happen and of course it would be more prevalent at the places where life is cheaper and moral value the lowest.  Such a sad reality.

Organ harvesting from live donors had to happen. The wealthy and powerful
