Wow, you seem to know an awful lot about me.  But maybe you ignore the fact that I am rather careful about what I reject.  And if I have rejected something, you can bet I have made a good deal of effort to understand it first.  Your implied assumption is that if I understood Christianity, I would embrace it.  That's not an accurate assumption.

And I read the writings of Christians because Christianity is a major influence in Western culture.

Hmmm
So Christians, Muslims, and atheists are too rigid in their thinking to learn anything new.  So I guess we should all be Hindus?
