Please excuse me Rob, I didn't explain myself properly the first time out. What's sad is that the place left you with such negative feelings concerning theology and God Himself. Please don't think that I'm by any means judging you for being Agnostic...I have no right to do so and never would-at least not intentionally. You are who you are, and as far as I'm concerned, you're a wonderful human being. I'm honoured to call you my friend.
I guess another thing that saddens me is the very fact that its doors have been closed. There's a beautiful old Catholic church right here in town where I live that closed its doors several years ago, and is now a community theatre. I dunno, I just hate to see any place of worship close its doors regardless of reason, and whether people believe or not.
Hope that's clear enough...my brain's been in a fog for most of the day!
