The scary part comes when you realize those little guys think
and plan, and mutate. Millions of 'em work together like well-trained soldiers, splitting up to regroup, setting traps for the "good" bacteria. My doc has been sharing some of his excitement about the newest discoveries they're making at the DNA level, and it's like the best science fiction war of the worlds you can imagine, invasions and battles, defensive tactics and all -- in every square inch of us.

One web
We are all in this together, us and the bugs, interacting and working together most of the time with some conflict now and then. If they all stop preferring us as live hosts, were stuffed!
