The scary part comes when you realize those little guys think
and plan, and mutate. Millions of 'em work together like well-trained soldiers, splitting up to regroup, setting traps for the "good" bacteria. My doc has been sharing some of his excitement about the newest discoveries they're making at the DNA level, and it's like the best science fiction war of the worlds you can imagine, invasions and battles, defensive tactics and all -- in every square inch of us.

We are all in this together, us and the bugs, interacting and working together most of the time with some conflict now and then.  If they all stop preferring us as live hosts, were stuffed!

eughhhh... to think of all those creepy crawlers all over our bodies, inside and out...... and there we are thinking we are so great...  Those statistics would be a nice thing to tell some of those holier than thou people that think their you know what does not smell.

And most of these bacteria are NOT armful! I which more people would stop using all these armful anti-this and anti-that everywhere! They are getting all of us sick!
