I'm taking it off...unpaid....because I'm working Thanksgiving! The job I work has no holidays except Christmas Day....and there's even a skeleton crew then. Before I retired and worked for the company as a regular employee we always got that day off (skeleton crew again) but never Veterans Day....I've never worked anywhere that got that day off.

This is the first time in 5 years that I have had the day after
Thanksgiving off. Of course, I took that week off for vacation.
