I was talking about just such a thing in the office , you know wondering who the rich were that were going to get taxed and what were the parameters of "richness" when a lady that was there for a court ordered evaluation turned to me and very sweetly said and I quote" I am sorry but I could not help hearing your conversation... its very simple... if you are not on welfare, if you have a job...you are rich. " We all smiled and tried to disuade her of her mistaken opinion, but on my way home alone in the car, I was thinking... What is she is right? because everything is relative in life and I guess to someone that has no income a person that has a steady paycheck is rich... G-d help us all

THE WHITE HOUSE HAS NOT CALLED ME HOW ABOUT YOU?
I am surprised. The White house has not called me nor anyone I know to see if we could help during this crisis. My friends and neighbors call if they need a helping hand. I must say my friends and neighbors are not in as much trouble and I am more adept at that sort of work.I doubt any of us could get us out of this mess. The woman who was last director of Freddy Mac (or Fannie Mae) who drew a salary of $5,000,000 yearly for the last three years has been tapped for the role of Attorney General. I could not speak to such a highly paid woman much less tell her our money did not need to be used to pay such outrageous salaries. She probably has a whole platoon of body guards.
All the Democrats now need to repay a lot of debts to those who elected them. I mean those who made huge contributions, or pulled strings. You know it strikes me that neither party should be beholding to the contributors any more than the needs of the whole. They are supposed to represent the whole nation. I don't see them doing that at all.
Well since I don't know how to fix it one of you may. Tell the rest of us and we may stand with you.

Right now I've been trying to make lemonade out of this lemon.......Everything I am reading about plans his people are bouncing around...from mandatory community service to takeover of all 401k plans and applying them to the Social Security fund or the people already selected for key post (especially the possibility of John Kerry as Sec of State).....make me believe it's going to be an interesting, if not scary 4 years ahead.
