Poor vogue, you'll be back to "civilisation" soon. But I do understand what you mean about not having descent conversation: when I arrived in Germany I could barely say two words and so, conversations were minimal! That's why I started bloging: to be able to talk to someone who could understand me and that I could understand. So important to be able to communicate! Part of being human I guess!LOL And a woman!

Sorry naut, in the heat of the "writing" I made a mistake: Balkans, NOT Baltic!
It must be because my son was talking to me about invasion of the Vikings crossing over the Baltic sea and the North Sea, killing the Frisons, invading Charlemagne's "Europe" etc.!LOL Mind you, it's just a few hundred years of difference...LOL

Very interesting thoughts. And your post makes me so sad that I am missing any kind of really meaningful conversation here in that Turkish hinterland. My neighbour is still on about her new KITCHEN!!!! But thank God for blogit, my only source of conversation until I'm back to civilisation. I`ve decided to sell this place and move to Istanbul when I come back next year.
