I like the call to become one and was quite enamored with this line: We have one heartbeat called Mother Earth.  We are one! Excellent!!!!!!! sam

Thank you all- I wrote this after reading the posts on orcalions blog . The conditions she describes made me want to speak out my angst.  Not dealing with North America at all- but -the social issues of our world.

Interesting thoughts/sentiments, but a little vague and utopian for me.
Eg: why would you juxtapose need against greed? While greed is an excess, so is extreme poverty--which I have 2 thoughts: People in this country considered to be in poverty (and I agree, not all, and we should be aware of it) but in this country (unless you are homeless...and often times there are reasons for this...I once tried to get a bag lady back to her family, but this is what she wanted to do!) In this country our poor usually have a roof over their heads, electicty, running water--and in most cases a refrig, and often enough, a TV and sometimes a cell phone. Want to compare this to some other parts of the world?

My point is this: If you want follow the path of Mother Theresa, then stop thinking about it and go out and do it.

Re: EX TURPI
Somewhere there has to be balance and prayer and admonition may be the beginning. Thanks my friend.

That sounds like a prayer and an admonition, all at once. I hope many bloggers read it and use it as a code in their daily lives.
