I always enjoy your views around Japan!
Many many of us here are also delighted that Obama won, and I think in time he will win over many who did not vote for him, as they get proof that much of what they were told about him during the campaign were simply lies.

Thanks for taking us along on that trip! I love those pictures, the whole area is really beautiful! And congrats to E on their victory! I don't know if I would like to do any kayaking on Fuji River, though - too many rocks for my taste, lol. Of course, I'm too lazy for kayaking anyway, I have the wind do the job...
