Re: Nothing left for it but to create

Today, I choose to believe that Obama will know how to mobilize us, his citizens and fellow Americans and will have a good plan to remake America away from corporate greed, from lobbyists and from bipartisan thinking.

We have been betrayed by the press, the media, the politicians, the corporations and our actual leaders for a few decades now and we are massively, cynically tired of it all. It is why Dem and Pubs both voted for Obama, because we intelligent people care more about our country than our party.

May he behave in truly American bipartisan ways, using men and women from all parties to advance a truly healing American agenda.

Silly old idealistic grandmother, me.

Nothing left for it but to create
Even people who are happy with the outcome allow cynicism too tinge all. There are some days when it is best to allow all hope in, and then we see what's possible.
