Wiley
I am planning to drive and not more than 10 hours per day.  Last thing I need to do is be too tired to pay attention in a strange place.  Thank you.

You're a heck of a human being and I'm proud of you for ending your marriage with such kindness and love. Good for you, and good luck in Seattle. Are you driving? Well don't drive at night, get decent motels to stay in, sleep in late in the mornings and vaya con Dios luv.

You and Carl have behaved so adult over this, no wonder the
judge was thrown out of the comfort zone. I mean most people just hate each other by the divorce day. I'll be so sad if you have to leave blogit but of course when you're settled, you can always come on back. We are family who care.

Naut

I know Vancouver is close.  Many have insisted we are going to need a trip to BC once I get there.

Thank you so much.  I do know that mine is a rare case and I am grateful that we were able to treat one another like two people who shared many good years and wonderful memories instead of enemies.

First of all, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And then, congrats to a successful and  non-traumatic finalizing of the divorce - yours is a rare case indeed! And the move to Seattle is exciting too! I've never been there, actually, but if it's anything like Vancouver, it should be great...

Bel, welcome back...and for whatever length of time it is, enjoy....:)
And I'm sure you will enjoy Seattle, from what I know of the city.....

I feel like a kid in a candy store right now.  I can have anything I want and it's up to me to create it on the most delicious way!

Bel…. Isn’t it a euphoric feeling when you reach a decision that you just know in your gut is the right thing to do!  Good for you for handling the divorce with such grace and dignity, and good for you for having the courage to try something completely different.

Well Taps you will just have to come visit me when I get there!

Would you believe that I've never been to Seattle?  Well, I haven't, but everyone I know who has, just loves it there.  I'll bet it will be good for you.
