Azur, you're right--and some people just refuse to vote at all because no one is perfect for the job.

I think we all need such a reminder from time to time!  It does no good to expect anyone to be other than who they are.  But sometimes it's hard to let them be just that--to accept them without wanting them to fulfill some need we have.

Expectations can really bite can't they?
I've noticed to in the election build up that people list impossible expectations of the candidate they oppose but those same characteristics would be beyond the candidate they support.
