Carving
This year, our jack-o-lantern has a cat face. My daughter and her boyfriend carved it. One year, at a church activity, we and some friends went a little non-traditional, and made a swan, a full, three dimensional sculpture. No place for a candle. We got honorable mention in the contest.

My daughter and I used to carve a lot of pumpkins but with no children around now, I no longer do it. I miss it though.....

This is very interesting. Yes I carved a pumpkin this year or at least I am going to. I cleaned them out last night. It is so warm here that if we carve to soon they die before Halloween. Well I am a little behind but I am determined that my pumpkins will be out with the rest of the families tomorrow night.
