The only bad part of winter is de-icing the car.  Well, slipping and falling on the ice isn't too fun either.  LOL

I agree with you comments on friends
my best friend and I have spent very little time in each other's physical company, and yet she has had a profound and wonderful influence on my life.  I think that sometimes it is easier to make a genuine connection (and maintain it, maybe) with somebody you see rarely.

Malcolm
How wonderful to have stayed in contact with a friend from the 80’s!  I have a couple of those in my life and feel very blessed that such friendships were important enough to stand the test of time.   And snow!!  That initial snowfall usually feels quite magical  - it's the winter that follows that sometimes doesn't feel quiet as friendly.

Can't believe you had snow and we didn't! We're not a million miles apart. But we had a gorgeous sunny day and another the same today. You'll just have to move further East....

I live in a desert so I know I will. It is very true about friends. Blogit has been such a boon in my life! I have kept up with folks who have left Blogit as well. Hope you stay warm too! sam
