Some great pieces here… loved the branches “scratching and clawing”. A perfect visual.

I really liked these, merkie--especially the first one.
The second one reminded me of times where lots of bats zipped around where I was in the darkness. One of the places was when we were camping along Havasu Creek in the bottom of the Grand Canyon area and the bats came out of their holes in the rock cliffs. The other place was in the northern mountain area of Spain. We stayed in the little hamlet of Valdelavilla. The mountain cliffs there were dotted with bat caves and they would come out and zip around after dark. Scary!!!
