- Go to And Almost Everywhere: Indefatigable Car Thieves...
I agree with TAps here... if they want something of yours they will get it... we might as well resign ourselves to it and hope there is no violence involved... SAd but true.

I used to know a thief.....he said that part of the reason he was a thief was because he enjoyed the challenge of it.....he was a college graduate and he talked a good game about the odds versus the payoff......and even with jailtime, the earnings per year, etc.....I've often wondered whatever happened to him....

If they want it, they're gonna get it one way or another.

what's that old saying? where there's a will, there's a way...
Real thieves have real tools to bypass alarm systems, locks, anti-theft thingies. Locking the doors only stops the amateurs. Or they'll break the windows. The secret is to buy an old beater car or one that's so uncoool no self-respecting kid would willingly mess with it.

They are saying that with jobs being lost...

Nautikos
Thieves appear to learn as fast as the engineers. They have a criminal use or theft ability by the time a product is on the street.

I'm afraid that they are more cunning than that! The best defense against car thieves is to have an

old car like mine that can no longer be sold to anyone!LOL
