the hell with Palin, the freakin GOP is retarded for even nominating McCan in the first place. The whole thing is perplexing, and the GOP is toast this time around.

Re: Re: Odd Perspective
What intelligent people who make less than a million dollars a year support McCain? Of course intelligent, informed people support Obama. He's intelligent and informed, and his policies, while a little unrealistic in the current economy and the fiscal mess in Washington, are at least closer to reality than McCain's.
How can anyone with sense and judgment believe, really believe, than McCain showed good judgment is choosing Sarah Palin as his running-mate?

Re: Odd Perspective
"I have to say, the people around me know a great deal about Senator Obama and his stands on issues." And they are voting for him? How can they not be on Haldol?
And McCain supporters are not goats, they're just screwed. Kind of like the way Kerry supporters felt in '04.

Xeno, I'm a fascist?
that's funny. I'm for less governmental intervention, not more, with social libertarian leanings. How is this fascist? The way I see it, people who toss that word around are the ones who actually possess it's tendencies and sympathize with it's methodologies.

Odd Perspective
I have to say, the people around me know a great deal about Senator Obama and his stands on issues. They also know about McCain and his stands. I believe there are people who will vote for Obama because it's cool, but I haven't met them. On the other hand, I have heard radio interviews who are voting for McCain because "Obama is 43% Arab and only 6% black, and has direct ties to terrorist organizations." They learned this on the Internet.
Some of us remember the tax policies under President Clinton, which also amounted to redistribution of wealth through higher taxes on the wealthy and lower taxes through tax credits for the working class, and funny thing, it actually worked. It made the economy better, balanced the federal budget, and let the working class share in the growth of the economy. What has Bush's plans done for the majority? Because McCain's tax proposals are extensions of Bush's, and little else. If Obama supporter are sheep, does that mean McCain supporters are, um, goats?

ODD HOW YOU AND THIS RIGHT WING EXTREMIST ORGANIZATION
CAN TAKE SOME SIMPLE STATEMENTS, SOME OF WHICH ARE VERY TRUE "WEALTHY WHITES IN THE SUBURBS DON'T WANT TO PAY TAXES FOR INNER CITY SCHOOLS"
and make them into something they are not.
He could say just about anything and conservatives would try to twist it around against him.
what is going on here is just what you are accusing Mr. Obama of -- propaganda, demagoguery, fascism.
but of course you have been fascists from the start.
