Re: Past Errors
It is not much different from prayer then.

Past Errors
I have read about this theory, and seen it illustrated in fiction.  I tried it out a few times, visualizing something I wanted, recording what I had done, and watching to see what happened.  The results were unimpressive.  But I have always been skeptical, and maybe that matters.  I suspect that if it really worked, everyone would be doing it all the time.

Re: The Messiah has already come, law of attraction or not, and He is coming
I'd much rather stick to:  Not mine, but Thy Will be done.

No human can claim to be able to foresee all the effects of the fulfilment of our desires and what may seem like an object or event that will bring us pleasure of fulfillment can have the opposite effect in the long run.

The Messiah has already come, law of attraction or not, and He is coming

again...

I like some things concerning the Law of Attraction, as it relates to the creative power God has instilled in all of us, and I believe we can somewhat manipulate energy with our minds and shape our paths...but I don't believe people who get raped, murdered and everything in between asked for it.  Job didn't ask for everything that befell him in the Bible, and we could go on and on, but some proponents of the LOA would tell you people either "signed an agreement" prior to birth to live the sort of existence they have or that they've attracted it...sorry, but some a parent whose child is killed never attracted that.
