I’m not one of those people who gets into costumes in a big way but I did purchase a couple of exotic, funky masks for “B” and I and we plan on heading down to the Martini bar dressed in black, glitter and our masks. I may not be able to avoid a few trick or treaters as they start pretty early but, like you, I usually hide or go out for the evening. Fortunately I live in an area where there aren’t too many children so I don’t feel like a complete scrooge.

I love to hand out candy to the kids. I use to decorate
but don't do much since my daughter grew up as far
as decorating. But I still try to have the cool treats
on the block.

LOVE HALLOWEEN
I love Halloween. I decorate the yard with ghosts, tomb stones and spider webs. I use cans with faces cut into them and candles to make the cemetery spooky. I change things a little bit each year to keep the neighborhood kids guessing. I try to take Halloween off each year so I can have more time to decorate. If I have time I dress up like a witch. I guess my Irish Celtic roots come out in October.
