Vogue
I've been buzzzzzing for a long time, but all that happens is people try to whack me with a newspaper! And, being a male, I don't even suck blood...

Although I would never have guessed how this philosophy was born
I totally agree with your conclusion my friend; if we all said we couldn't make a difference so what's the point there would be no change anywhere ever and this would be very sad; many blessings and thanks

The first one I read

Just want you to know that your blog is the first thing I run to as soon as I open my computer after office hours... I look forwrd each day to your new entries... having said that, thank you for your simple yet valuable insight about the mosquito.

I can identify about your insight, both professionally and personally. I failitate corporate planning as a side line (gratis, of course) from my main job. Living in a third worl country where the socio-political system is (to be polite) defective, a lot of my countrymen have given up hope and are indifferent. Sometimes it is hard to inspire/convinve them that they can make a differene... I have to flood them with examples like Gandhi who challenged the British empire, Martin Luther King, and our own national heroes who are ordinary people but were able to make a difference. Or even countries who rose from the ravages of war and are now making an impression in the world eco-polotical landscape like Japan, Vietnam and others....

This comment is getting long now, but you just hit a cord that is close to my heart... it is not easy though... sometimes you will be mocked, crucified for believeing and fighting for a cause... it is easier to keep your mouth shut or youe eyes closed...but can one truly live if he doesn't stand up for what he believe in? Will it a life with sense? Can one drown the voice within him and still feel worthy of the gift of life?

Thank you for the wonderful post, Vogue.

buzzzzzzz buzzzzzzz loll.... just kidding :-)  Wise words and wonderful conclusion... who would have thought from a mosquito such philosophical thought would develop.  You are in good company my friend... ordinary things have always brought about the brilliance of great minds... Look at Newton and his apple,,, Franklin and his kite... so many others that by observing Nature made great discoveries.  BTW...did you ever catch the Mosquito?
