There is not much difference...the funeral is a ceremony to mark the end of a life and the beginning of the next one, a wedding is also the end of a life as we know it and the beginning of another one with the one we love. I think Sam had it best... the only difference I can think of is the music.

At a wedding we smile for love . . . and at a funeral we smile remembering love. Difference is
simply life and death. I suppose I cry at both too. Fun question.
