RITE2SPIN - it is as simple as reserving the right to amend

A theory in science is the framework or mechanism used to explain how certain natural phenomena occur. What causes the phenomena is subject to revision on a continuous basis, while the observed or measured phenomena itself, if consistent can become fact. In other words; in scientific methodology a theory is used to explain facts.

This is where so many people outside of science just don't get it. No one would argue against gravitational theory for example on the same grounds that they would argue against evolutionary theory. Even in instances where a scientific theory produces consistently measurable results, it is the consistently measurable results that are referred to as laws, not the explanation of (scientific theory) what causes them to occur.

Gome
I as you have said in so many words, am kind of simple minded. Humor me and explain why it is not called scientific fact, really, Thanks.
