I agree

I have a son who is one of the best salesmen on the phone ever.  He, of course, has a natural gene for it.  The reason I say this is that when he was caught in a lie when a teenager, he could talk out of both sides of his mouth and out the middle. I had to be really on my feet to cut through his bull(**&*&&^.  Having had this experience, I can spot the behavior in a heartbeat and Obama meets the criteria.

I find it amazing that as soon it is reported that something is popular; Obama suddenly said something about it first.  In favor if good and against if bad. Being subjected to Fox News 24/7 365 for the past year, I have to ask when did he say that? I've never heard it reported.

As far as Brit Hume, I think that he can't be as opinionated as O'Rielly. He has to present both sides without actually giving his opinion.  O'Rielly is a commentator who is suppose to give his opinion along with debating his guest.  Brit Hume only moderates a panel and has to stay neutral.  As he always says, we report and you decide. It has to do with journalism ethics and the moderator vs commentator role.

McCain needs to pick a path and walk it.  Of course, he could have a strategy of making the Obama campaign thinking he is having senior moments and then  he is going in for the kill during the next 3 weeks and is depending on the intellect and judgment of the electorate to not be fooled by Obama's fools gold shine anymore.   As Dick Morris said, Obama is like a drug and now that the debates are over, the effects of the Obama drug will wear off and the folks will see through the empty words.

Thank you for your caring words and support re: Fibro and caring for Richard.  I've had it since I was 5yo but didn't get unmanagble until 1999 and the chronic fatigue really kicked in.  I hit the wall really hard and couldn't read for 3 years and was in bed for weeks at a time and the depression was awful.  I have finally reached a point where I can be happy if all I can do is look pretty and sit on the couch for the day and not have much pain.  I have written a research paper on diagnosis criteria, all the organ symptoms involved, medical treatment, and alternative therapies. I have it for sell on my site.

Thank you so much for this excellent comment. It says it all. May I post it as your comment on my blog?

I watched only the debate and watched nothing before or after by way of

coverage or commentary.

If every American would review the transcripts of the debates, then research each candidates websites and seriously read both of their plans, then look at their voting records, they wouldn't need to bother with any news show, because they'd have enough facts about the candidates to make the correct decision for this country.

Does Obama cross the aisle?  No, just look at his voting record.

Will Obama cut taxes for 95% of Americans?  No. credits are not cuts.

Will Obama fine small businesses for NOT offering health care to its employees?  Well, that all depends, as I have yet to hear Obama define who exactly is a "small business".

Add to this the unending rhetoric, the outright lies he let fly out of his mouth during the 3rd debate, and his regurgitation of existing policies and practices and calling them his own, this guy is not the right guy for the job.

And I'm not letting McCain get off easy, either....

Is McCain's health care plan better than Obama's big government solution?  Not a chance.  His plan is nothing more than a tax credit that doesn't guarantee anything but the end of your employer provided coverage (if you even have it).

Is McCain's plan to buy back mortgages from sub-prime borrowers going to aid the declined real estate market?  Not really, as he's placed too many limitations on it (sub-prime mortgages originated after 2005 is just a piece of the pie).

Add to this his erratic behavior after wall street's infamous 777 point drop, his complete inability to call Obama on any of his inconsistencies, omissions and untruths and his selecting a bubblehead as a runningmate, and our choices don't look too hot.
