McCain says in an Internet ad that the two (Ayers and Obama) "ran a radical 'education' foundation" in Chicago. But the supposedly "radical" group was supported by a Republican governor and included on its board prominent local civic leaders, including one former Nixon administration official who has given $1,500 to McCain's campaign this year. Education Week says the group's work "reflected mainstream thinking" among school reformers. The group was the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, started by a $49 million grant from the Annenberg Foundation, which was established by the publisher Walter Annenberg, a prominent Republican, close personal friend of Ronald Reagan whose widow, Leonore, is a contributor to the McCain campaign.
Oh and John McCain was ACORN'S 2006 keynote speaker.

I think you are right on target. Too many people are voting for him because he is promising impossible things and they love him, think he is handsome, a great change but they are not listening carefully to his words and comparing them with the evidence which makes a lot of his talk nothing short of double talk.

I find it amazing everyday that the American people are so gulliable
I have friends that I cannot question anything about Obama. One is supposed to be basing all her thoughts on a love based evaluation and the spue against McCain is unbelievable. We don't even communicate anymore because I told her I was an independent and evaluated on the best man I felt to run the Country who is McCain.

Yes! I cannot understand those who think he is honest, upright and on target! He is about as much for the poor as the likely hood of a cheetah and a gazelle mating. He will make slaves of them. Take money from the rich so there is no more work and make the poor slaves to welfare and his bidding.
