I dont know I understand it shows them you are a credit risk becuase it took so many companies to approve your credit

Unless we use credit – and use it well – we’d have a lousy score as well. Sometimes, as you pointed out, it’s those inquiries alone (not a missed payment or a poorly managed credit balance) that can bring a rating down and I’ve often thought that doesn't make sense.

I really dont have any either but there was a time when I did and in 2006 I had a very bad house loan and that is when the sh..t hit the fan

I don't use my credit cards at all, only when absolutely necessary like renting a car or checking into a hotel. Otherwise, everything is strictly cash and has been so for many years.

My name was on the family cell phones
I took several hits when the kids didn't pay on time. It's their turn now. I'm on their line and have already been instructed when I have to have the payment in. Oh well, I very much now believe you reap what you sow and karma can be for lifetimes so pay on time I will.

I do use credit from time to time, and i hate it, i hate to use credit,
it's admitting that i am over spending. If you don't have the money to spend you shouldn't buy whatever it is that you buy on credit. There are exceptions like something that brakes down like a hot water heater, or your car, or a stove, etc. Then credit comes in handy.
