Funerals are so difficult, and yet we should be so excited for those who have gone home, but we just do it that way! sam

It is sad
when one's life cannot be celebrated by friends and family. Life and death are but transitions in form not an end in the living soul. Of course, the stages of grief have to be gone through and one must respect the wife's feelings. I am glad that at least I have come to a place of acceptance and will be able to celebrate the best of Richard's life whenever the time comes for him to cross over. Richard invited our pastor over a couple of months ago and I thought it was going to be another 'I'm going to hell" dissertation and nearly fell over when he ask Wayne to have a celebration of life service and planned it with Wayne. I hope the next funeral will be more celebration of life with family and friends.
