Re: Thank you for sharing.......
Hey, thank YOU for showing up. I don't go a day without checking out your blog.
Talk about an identity crisis: this poor guy went by the name Barry his entire life until somebody told him it would be politically advantageous to have a more ethnic-sounding name, but, conversely, any mention of his middle name is tantamount to mentioning the Holocaust at Mahmoud Ahmadine-Jihad's birthday party. Da Nile ain't just a river in Egypt.
Barry [Not Hussein] Obama's brother George hasn't changed his name to Gwandoya yet, as far as I know. And, as far as I know, he's still living hut in Nairobi. So since he does, in a way, have a home, George isn't going to be one of those homeless people Barack helps out. Tough break, Bro.

Re: Hello Gapcohen
Oh, I agree with you, don't get me wrong; my vote for McCain is merely a vote against Obama. I've said it before, what we have here is a liberal running against an unabashed Marxist. McCain is a RINO: Republican In Name Only. The Republicans put up the worst possible candidate against the Manchurian candidate. It's Bill Clinton against Bob Dole 2008 version. Only, Clinton was SO much more intelligent than Barack, it's like comparing Dom Pérignon to Tab Cola.
The reason Senator McCain looks old and crotchety is... because he's old and crotchety. And it is scary to think about having someone as inexperienced as Sarah Palin be president. Why, it's almost as scary as having someone even less experienced... like Barack Obama, for instance.
Thanks for stopping by. Always good to see you.

Re: CunningLinguist
Justi, it's not the things he says by accident that concern me, it's the things he says clearly and with a great deal of thought. Everyone makes a mistake, not everyone makes a Marxist. He wants to nearly double the capital gains tax rate. And this is supposed to create incentive for businesses to NOT go overseas?
Thank you for stopping in and commenting, Justi.

Re: The biggest doozy isn't on the compliation...
NewYorker, in my opinion, the man is just a contrarian. He's always going to take the most far left position that's available on any given issue. I think he's known that he was going to run for president since very shortly after the hoopla over his speech at the DNC in 04, and the only way he had a chance against the presumptive nominee (Hillary) was to out-left her. "She's voting for the war? I'm against it." It was a risk that paid off and most likely won him the Democrat nomination.
And for some reason, Iraq was a "stupid war," but Darfur would somehow be a wise war in which to be involved? It's always the left wing's interests over the country's interests when it comes to Obama.

Hi, Cunning; I've seen/heard most of these and you can slice and dice McCain just as much if you took the time to do so. I have a problem with both candidates, so I'm still twisting in the wind on this one. But McCain looked old and crotchety in Debate #2, making it even more frightening to have Ms. Field-Dresser of the Year a heartbeat away....

I loved the 'miss speak' about visiting all 57 states. And referring to his 'Muslim Faith'. After all that he has said people still look up to him as if he were going to make all things well again. How stupid can we really become. Good post thank you!

Re: Sinome
These Obama quotes are unbelievable, I agree. But the thing is, I've seen the instances in which he said all of these things in their proper context throughout the campaign trail, and the only reason that many of them are not well known (even though many of them are) is because this candidate is protected by the very press that we entrust to report the news accurately and fairly.
Thank you for reading and commenting :-)

I am not very familiar with politics or Obama in particular,,,but this is a very interesting post, some of the cuotes makes no sense and I can't believe this man is running for and almost winning the presidency ... but to be fair things taken out of context sometimes do not make much sense. Some of the quotes are unbelievable...specially when he talks about being American and the flag. Hmmmmm I shall pass it along :-)

Thanks
