- Go to Hamas' 'Mickey' and Israeli child-killers...IX
This is a pretty serious topic, so I may share this small aside.. my friend went to Israel on a mission trip and during a side trip to Tiberius he almost burned down a local spa accidently. He threw what he thought was water (odorless alchohol based massage oil) onto the lava rocks inside the sauna room and caused a large explosion. He is alright now but suffered 3rd degree over 30%. He said the treatment there (about 4 weeks) was cheaper than US and he enjoyed all the attention. Thx and take care

Re:
Sorry, gap, you're right. Of necessity this is a very, very general discussion. But it certainly deserves mention that, while Muslim Arabs prevented Jews from praying at the Wailing Wall, Israel has ensured that Muslims continue to have access to the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa mosque...Again, the 'built-in' intolerance of Islam stands in sharp contrast to the Judaic tradition...

Re:
The 'solution', Shelly, can be found only in a combination of two things: Israel's continued strength, and a significant increase in the number of moderate Muslims willing to reject the part of their religion which demands intolerance toward 'infidels'...

You didn't mention that when the old city of Jerusalem was under Arab control, much of the Jewish holy sights were defaced and vandalized and for the most part, Jews were not allowed access. I was in 1st grade in 1967, when Israel took back the Old City, and I remember dancing and singing because finally, we could pray at our holiest of places; the Western (Wailing) Wall. Mal

Oh my! I don't see how this can be resolved! I am sad that they think they are the only way. Shelly
